In Brewood at night it is very quiet and very peaceful .
Brewood is now a village but it used to be a town.
The Norman Domsday book called the town
Breude. The bre part means a hill and he Anglo-Saxon word wudu means by a wood
The Shropshire union canal runs through the Quiet village of Brewood.

Brewood goes all the way back to Anglo- Saxons.
The ancient Roman road is named Wattling
street and it runs along the north of Brewood.
