On Monday 30th September 2019, class 3 went to the Barnfield Sandbeds and we want to tell you all about it.
Did you know that Sandbeds is half man made and half natural?
​
Did you know there is around 70 to 80 bird boxes?
​
Did you know the sandbeds is famous for dog walking?
​
Did you know the sandbeds used to be a quarry?
Firstly, we had a long, tiring walk from St Mary`s catholic primary school to the Barnfield Sandbeds. After a tiring walk (5-7 minutes), we finally got there. when we got there we went pond dipping, we caught lots of new amazing creatures\water animals.After pond dipping we went on an incredible nature trail we saw mushrooms,netals and dragonflys.Then we headed back to school.
