Did you know Brewood means by a hill or by a wood

Bre means by a hill and 'wudu' means by a wood.

 

Long ago, the Romans existed around the Brewood are because there is a street called Watling Street and it is divides one parish from another. We know amazing Brewood existed in 1066 because it was written in the Domesday book.

 

Pugin designed St Mary's church in Brewood. It was built in 1840 and at school we still use it for mass every Wednesday.

Brewood won best kept village 4 times. It is amazing that it has won 4 times.

In the Brewood park, there are lots of things to do you can go on swings, slides and zip wires. Also, you can take part in activities like collecting different color leaves and look for nature.
